Jennifer Delzeit (b. July 17, 1995) is a former member of Troop 60205 in the Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland and a 2013 Gold Award Recipient.
She focused her Gold Award project on addressing safety and obesity in the public. It involved creating large walking trail signs that included safety regulations and mileage for local walking trails. Jennifer shared, “Personally, this has taught me that if you’re doing something impactful and you let others know about it, the community will respond in a positive way and help you out.” Jennifer worked to organize a bake sale to raise funds for the signs and held a public naming contest gaining public interaction.
