The Senses badge is part of "It's Your Planet-Love It" series set introduced in 2011. It replaces the retired Senses badge.

Step 1: Look around[]

Try your hand at the following interactives located on the 3rd floor of the Museum in School for Spies:

  • Observe and Analyze • Disguise and Identify
  • Threat Analysis • Imagery Analysis

Look closely at the spy gadgets on display (don’t read the label!). Think about and discuss:▪ How was this gadget used? ▪ Tell a short fictional story about you or someone else using this gadget. ▪ What is it made from? Could you make this at home?

Step 2: Listen to the World[]

  • Cool sound facts: Koalas have a special organ that helps males make a low bass sound 20 times lower than would be expected from an animal their size -- something more expected from an elephant than a koala.
  • Crawl through the AIR DUCT in School for Spies. What language can you hear?
  • Try your hand at the Undersea Surveillance interactive located on the 3rd floor of the Museum in School for Spies.

Step 3: Put Your Nose to Work[]

Girls will learn more about their sense of smell by doing a few activities where they identify objects by their smell and learn to navigate around objects using only their sense of smell.

Step 4: Take a Taste Test[]

Try new foods at the local farmers market.

To use your sense of taste, you need your mouth and your tongue.

Step 5: Touch and Feel[]

You can touch and feel the adventure of being a spy! Challenge yourself on the 1st floor in the Your Bond Moment activities:

• Hang Time

• Atomic Countdown • Spy vs. Spy
